Chelsey Lefever, APRN

Chelsey Lefever, APRN, MSN, FNP is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with 18 years of cardiac, ICU/acute care, and primary care experience.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Creighton University and began her career as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Mary Lanning Hospital in 2006.  She continued her nursing experience becoming a Cardiology Nurse at Nebraska Heart Institute in Hastings, NE in 2009 than as a hospitalist RN in 2017 at Mary Lanning Hospital.  She advanced her career and graduated in May 2022 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE with a Master of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She gained much experience and knowledge working at the VA Primary Care Clinic in Grand Island, NE seeing medically complex patients with a variety of cardiac conditions.  Chelsey is married with 4 kids, who keep her busy with their activities in football, volleyball, cross country, wrestling, track/field, baseball, and softball.  Chelsey also coaches ‘Girls on the Run’ youth volleyball and enjoys keeping active by running, lifting weights, and going skiing and golfing when the weather permits.  In November 2024, she accepted a position with Pioneer Heart Institute where she will see patients at the Lincoln clinic, as well as our Outreach locations.
